He has informed me that he will be racing the Camaro for sure. Wanting to get a solid baseline before it's messed with. Although, with conditions being less than ideal this time of year, I fully expect some high 13's/low 14's outta her, but we'll see.
I'm ready to race! It's been such a long time it seems with this event being the only one this month.

I believe Tyler Miller will be out at the race track this weekend, looking to make a couple passes in his dragster since his accident! Jaron Miller is also looking to license in Tylers dragster, so for once since the accident, the whole Miller family will be back out there racing!

I was wondering if the Street Legal drags will be all heads up or if they will be a bracket race? Also, I was wondering if the break-up of the classes between the first round winners and losers was a form of buyback or if the first round was just a way to set up the bracket? Sorry to be such a pain.

Don't worry, you ain't botherin' nobody by asking. ;D I had it wrong myself, sorry for the confusion. If you haven't already, please check the 1st page of this thread on my 1st post, I have corrected the errors in light of this new information. The Street Car Shootout will be all heads up. The 1st round is basically a way to divide the field up so that we help keep the faster cars from racing the slower cars, no buyback necessary. Sammy plans to start the Shootout race about 6 or so, and he will be running the Pro tree for the race. The Sportsman tree will be used throughout the day up till then. Vids from last year's Sammy race:

This is the reply I got from Sammy: "No plans for that, I don't think there will be enough time." This is why I wish we had the Relay for Life race again, it was really fun to give the kiddos a ride!

I know, good thing that was Jared drivin' in the vid. I'd never drive a car with those wheels on it..... Speakin' of wheels, caught a glimse of Mr. Walker the other day cruisin' the 'olds, looked like he might have some bling goin on in the wheel wells, looked pretty pimp! Last checked, here's the list of who is attending out of the GB crowd: J's Vette Al's Z28 Ney's 5th gen SS Deric's GT + BB Fox Dan's 175 shot '96 GT Oldsmobility Sean's '86 V-6 Dave's '97 GT The usual crowd! Should be a great playday.

Had Centerline build a pair of 20" Telstars for me last fall. Only took them 5 months to complete the CAD and deliver the wheels but I think it was worth it. After the season I will order the 18"s for the front.

My wife and I want to extend a thank you to everyone that was able to attend and help out. I also want to say thanks to the staff at SRCA for allowing us to use their facility for our event, on the same note I want to apolagize for almost taking out the starting tree and causing a delay in racing. it wasnt a long delay but none the less it was a delay. a thank you also goes to my brother and friends for helping load my car as quickly and safely as possible to get it out of the way. we hope everyone had a good time we'll see ya all at the track after we get the car put back togather again. congratulations go to Tanner Wears and Kevin Mohler for taking first place in their classes during the street car shoot out. well, you guys keep all 4 wheels on your cars and keep the shiny side up, see ya next time.

Your race was a blast to help prepare for, Sammy! You did give us a major scare, but it's all fine and dandy! You controlled it well! I'm pretty sure you gave Mr. Duane Burghardt a heart attack, no offense, haha. Anyways, it was a great day of racing, and I had a great time!
