Thanks to everybody responsible for bringing the Pro Mods out last night. What a show! And all really nice guys. With a little bit of effort, enough money could be raised from local and area businesses, (with plenty of advertising to bring the spectators) to bring more cars next year. As president and co-owner of Maverick Well Service LLC, I'd be willing to put up some cash.
That's how we fund the motorcycle races at the Rooks county fair and this year we've got some of the top half mile riders in the nation coming out. Food for thought.

When are those races in Rooks County?
It was an excellent day/night out at the track Saturday and it was awesome watching the Pro Mods, and running 1/4 mile like they should..

Thanks to all the business that help make the PRO-MOD Shoot-out possible without your support it would have not be possible. A special and big thank you to B&B recycling and crushing for the extra money that they put in to the pot for the PRO-Mod drivers. And thanks SRCA Track Prep Crew for your extra works!!!!!! ;D ;D

Motorcycle races are Monday and Tuesday, August 10th and 11th at the fairgrounds in Stockton. Special features include Vintage Pro, (50 years and older and these guys can ride!) and there will be some XR750 Harleys. Well worth coming out to watch.

Took all day but we weren't about to give up with all of the support we were getting. I had the best seat in the house watching that Pro Mod pull away from me (we made a soft pass on it after the repairs to be safe . We made a late night pass and the traction was great! Car hooked hard and ran a solid 7. Kind of made up for the earlier passes. Thanks from all of us. That Challenger is one bad-ass ride, and I loved the paint. Hope to see it again sometime down this way.

Doesn't matter which day. It'll be well worth the time to come out and watch. Practice at 11:00 am, heat races at 1:00pm, gates open at 5, Features at 7:pm.

All the Pro Mod guys had a great time last saturday - great track - great people - great sponsors - great race fans and wow you guys even provided the best ever weather for an august race - some of my crew even had to find a jacket - now thats hospitality!!! I have had calls from other Pro Mod teams that did not attend - A they wish they had come. B they are pumped and ready to go for next year!!! Bigger and better in 2010!!! Everyone on the SRCA crew did a perfect job - track prep, starter, tower, announcer, staging lane director, heck even the board members all kicked in with time, money, help - concessions yummm - Thanks again SRCA - job well done - Wayne Roberts - Godzilla 63 corvette

Actually his (Wayne) low qualifying pass was a 6.68 sec pass. Then the next guy down the track did a 6.69 second pass. I was at 1/2 track and I will say that was very enjoyable. Looking forward to next year.

Looking forward to next year. Michael Carlson I know. Was just saying saying his second pass (1st round, 6.71) was awesome also. I would love to get full out pro mod show here AND make it profitable for the track. We will see what future brings.

I agree. And I think that with a little more sponsorship and the right media coverage it can be done. I'm all in.
