New to the board, New to Drag Racing this year.
Wanted to thank everyone at SRCA for the great track we have here local. Been out every T&T that I could make. Had a great time, improving and having a ball. Used SRCA as a trail ground for the T&O Drags in Wichita. They paid top 4, I was in top 6. Not too shabby for the first real racing.
Still trying to drag some friends out to play on Fri evenings, maybe next year. Maybe IF I can bring out 1/2 dozen friends, you could come up with a pushrod bike class? Not much fun running the crotchrockets, no slam against you Mike.
Best fun all year was BBBR, dared, drug and pestered alot of friends out onto the track. Ran the best ever, right before I broke. 13.08. Gonna be in the 12.?? next year.
I'm the one on the ole H-D, making noise.
Thanks Tom R. and all the rest, you're doing a great job.
See you next year.

you dont need a pushrod class to be competitive, we are bracket racing so you will be just as likely to win against a crotchrocket as a pushrod bike. we really need our bike class to grow so get your freinds to the track and start woopn some crotchrocket butt.

Yes I get the Bracket racing, but it would be nice to be the FAST guy in the bracket. It's a blast racing down the competion. And I hate roaring down the track wondering where and when the competion is going to BLOW by. Besides, Bracket racing is consistency, I'm getting faster all the time! Bike has lots more in it, not sure how much more I have.
Don't woory I'll be back next year. You guys have the best kept secret in Great Bend. I'm just trying to get the secret out to the bikes in the area. What better way to spend a Friday evening!
Hope to see a lot more American Bikes @ SRCA next year.
