Heard that NHRA is changing rules on gloves in motorcycle classes.
Anybody know the new rules? What do I need to look for to be ready for next year? Kevlar or side buttons?

The new motorcycle glove rule reads: ET Motorcycle riders will be required to use Kevlar-lined gloves OR gloves equipped with slide buttons. There are several rule changes that have been announced by NHRA and are listed on page 4 of the Oct 30th Nat Dragster. Rich

If you desire to see all the other changes follow this link. www.nhra.com/UserFiles/file/2010RuleBookAmendments.pdfAnother rule that we will be seeing later is the rule involving a helmet lift off device . it is being mandated for Pro Stock - March 2010. It is called " Shock Doctor" One can Google the term to find some information on the device if desired. Cost is about $ 60.00.
