From previous discrepancies and to advert future misunderstandings this is what SRCA will honor for Gold Card's. This was also brought to NHRA's attention for ruling.
This is how we will honor these and NHRA agreed.
Track gold card awarded to classes at participating Summit tracks running in points system for E.T. finals.
Card is good for entry into class awarded in, only during a scheduled points race and we will honor other participating tracks gold card i.e. Pro gold card can run Pro for free.
If wanting to use for different class, participant must pay the difference i.e. Pro wanting to run Super Pro must pay at our track the $10.00 difference, but if goes to Sportsman will not be refunded difference in price.
Card is only good for one class per event i.e. will not honor for running multiple classes during one event.
Card is good for any Summit sponsored event for one class in that event.
This card is NOT honored for any other event except for points races i.e will not be honored for special bracket races, grudge races, test and tune or Lucas events.
Jr Dragster and High School ONLY
If recipient has received a gold card in these classes and they become ineligible to run this class the year it is good for, they can choose class that they are moving into and SRCA will then reissue card for that class.
If recipient is still eligible to run that class, but decide not to and want to move up they will have to pay the difference on entry fee.
Gold Card awarded for NHRA Summit E.T. Division win.
Same as above except it will be honored for ONE class only of their choice without additional fee. We will allow one crew member in for free also.
Gold Card awarded for NHRA Lucas or Full Throttle win.
This card is only good for a Lucas or Full Throttle event. Cannot be used for any Summit E.T. points event, special bracket race, grudge race, Summit sponsored race or test and tune.
